4. How we disclose personal information
RothurTech may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients when reasonably necessary for the purposes described above:
- Amazon Web Services supports website hosting and delivery, security, API processing, operational logging, and Contact-form email delivery. The production architecture uses Route 53, CloudFront, a private S3 bucket, API Gateway, Lambda, and Amazon Simple Email Service.
- Google Workspace receives and stores business email sent to RothurTech, including Contact-form messages delivered to contact@rothurtech.com.
- Legal, accounting, security, insurance, or other professional advisers, and governmental or regulatory authorities, may receive information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and security, or address a legal matter.

RothurTech does not sell personal information. RothurTech also does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
At launch, RothurTech does not use app-authored analytics, advertising pixels, session-replay technology, or marketing cookies on the website. A production browser and network review confirmed that no undisclosed tracking technologies or third-party requests were present.
Essential hosting, content-delivery, security, and network technologies may process request metadata as described in this policy. RothurTech will reassess this policy and any required preference or consent mechanism before adding nonessential analytics, advertising, tracking, CAPTCHA, chat, embedded content, or similar technology.
6. Retention
RothurTech ordinarily retains the records described in this policy as follows:
| Record category | Ordinary retention period |
|---|---|
| Contact emails and related correspondence | 24 months after the last substantive interaction |
| Ordinary CloudFront, WAF, API Gateway, and Lambda access and operational logs | 30 days |
| Security-incident, complaint, investigation, or litigation records | As reasonably necessary until the matter and any applicable legal hold are closed |
| Provider backup or residual copies | Until deleted or overwritten according to the provider’s documented cycle, subject to legal holds |
RothurTech may retain a record for longer when reasonably necessary to comply with law, preserve evidence, resolve a dispute, enforce an agreement, or maintain an applicable legal hold. Records may be deleted sooner when they are no longer needed and earlier deletion is consistent with legal and operational requirements.
RothurTech does not maintain an application-owned Contact-submission database. Contact submissions and related correspondence may be retained in Google Workspace, and limited technical information may be retained in AWS infrastructure logs according to the access and retention controls described above.
7. Security
RothurTech uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information it handles. These safeguards include access controls, multifactor authentication, encryption in transit and provider-supported encryption at rest, restricted mailbox forwarding, logging and request-body redaction, patching and dependency management, provider and account review, secure deletion and legal-hold processes, periodic access review, incident-response procedures, and workforce confidentiality obligations.
No method of transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
8. Privacy choices and requests
Depending on applicable law and the circumstances, a person may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to exercise other privacy rights provided by law. A particular right may not apply to every person or in every jurisdiction, and lawful exceptions may apply.
To submit a privacy request, email contact@rothurtech.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” RothurTech may request information reasonably necessary to verify identity or authority before acting on a request. Verification will ordinarily use information already associated with the request. RothurTech will not request a Social Security number, full government-identification number, or unrelated sensitive information solely to verify a routine privacy request.
An authorized agent may submit a request where applicable law permits it. RothurTech may require reasonable evidence of the agent’s authority and may verify the request directly with the individual when permitted by law.
9. Children’s privacy
The website is intended for business users and job applicants and is not directed to children under 13. RothurTech does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the website. If RothurTech learns that it has done so, it will take reasonable steps to delete the information.
10. State and jurisdiction considerations
Privacy rights and obligations may vary by jurisdiction. RothurTech provides the request process described above without representing that every privacy right applies to every person or that RothurTech is subject to every state privacy statute.
RothurTech will reassess applicable privacy requirements periodically and before introducing advertising, sale or sharing of personal information, large-scale analytics, materially different data handling, or substantially increased traffic or data volume.
11. Changes to this policy
RothurTech may revise this policy to reflect changes in law, technology, services, or information-handling practices. The Last updated date will be revised when substantive changes are made.
